Sónia holds a degree in Business Management from Universidade Internacional, em Lisboa.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Sonia has 18 years of professional experience in Human Resources, with emphasis in the areas of recruitment and selection, staff administration, compensation and benefits and health and security. Sónia worked in Portuguese companies in the segments of advertising, restoration, health and consultancy. She began her career in Grupo Central de Comunicação, which included Mkt, CTP, IPSIS, NMedia, Mais Mercado and Mais Design companies, where she managed the Human Resources administration department. In 2006 she made part of the team that managed the whole process of merging of the two biggest communication groups in Portugal - Central de Comunicação e Brandia - a total of 21 companies -, resulting in the Grupo Brandia Central - 4 companies at the end - , as the responsible for the HR administration area. In 2015 joined the People Team of Daufood, she was part of the SAP HR implementation team. In 2016 embraces a new challenge, integrating a big health group in Portugal, Joaquim Chaves, being responsible for payroll and professionals’ administration of the laboratory and managing the training budget for the all company. In the beginning of 2017 joined Epimetheus, an HR consulting firm, and at the end of the year Sonia moved to Signium as the Head of Research in Portugal.
